Approximately 200 students from over 30 schools across 15 counties and cities will present projects, including representatives from Charlottesville, Richmond, Albemarle, Culpeper, Fluvanna, Greene, King George, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange, Rappahannock, Spotsylvania, Fauquier, and Stafford.

"The middle and high school students who qualify for the regional fair work tirelessly, experimenting and preparing for this day," said VPRSF Director Adrian Felts. "We are incredibly proud of their achievements."

Two Senior division "Grand Award Winners" will receive expense-paid trips to the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair in Columbus, Ohio, this May, where students can compete for over $3 million in awards and scholarships.

The fair will feature over 100 special awards presented by more than 30 sponsoring organizations, highlighting the community's commitment to nurturing young scientific talent.

North Fork has generously donated time, space, and resources to support this critical STEM event. As a result, the VPRSF can waive all student participation fees and provide $100 grants to teachers of first-place category winners.

"We are pleased to once again host the Virginia Piedmont Regional Science Fair at North Fork and help encourage the next generation of innovators," said Deborah van Eersel, chief administrative officer at the UVA Foundation.
