Town Center Three Building Completed
Nearly 150 community members joined the University of Virginia Foundation for a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony celebrating the completion of its newest Town Center Three Building, located in the Town Center District of the University of Virginia Research Park.
The Town Center Three building, an 85,000 square foot Class A office building, is the first in the Park to be specifically designed to meet LEED – Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design guidelines. Northrop Grumman occupies the entire fourth floor with nearly 80 employees and, in keeping with the mission of the Park, has a strong relationship with the University and is partnering on projects of mutual interest. There are nearly 60,000 square feet still available for lease in the building.
The 562-acre Park, located less than a mile from the airport, has 3 million square feet of development space. There are eight buildings completed with 19 tenants including several research units of the University’s School of Medicine and School of Engineering and Applied Science.
